Stuck on time and need a hand getting the doggies walked? Or maybe you’re in need of someone to keep your cats company while you’re away. Whatever the pinch, you’ve found a gal who can do both and more!

A little bit about me

Hiiii! I’m Lara & happy that you’re here. :)

A lot of my early pet care experience comes from growing up in a home with many, many pets around. It was often the case that the pets were outnumbering the humans, especially when the extended family came together during summers and at Christmas time. I've loved dog breeds from an English Mastiff to a Westie, always adored cats and, randomly, hamsters. Along the way I’ve had the joy of spending some of my years with my gorgeous Connemara pony (who now lives happily back in Connemara!).

Over the past few months I’ve been minding pets - mainly cats and dogs - & looking after homes for people who are away. Being an active gal with an interest for crafts mixed with being a bit of a bookworm allows me the best of both with doggos who enjoy walking or running, and kitties who like to lounge around for cuddles. If I'm not minding pets, I can be found on reception helping out as a Karmi Yogi or sea swimming before jumping into the sauna.

Newly based in Delgany, Co. Wicklow. Having a car & bike makes getting around very efficient!

  • Whatever the weather - hail or shine - you can rest assured that doggies get walked!

    Location of walk will vary depending on the day (& the dog!). Walks will be tailored to suit the dog(s) with me and can be anywhere from a stroll around the park on a lead to running free on the beach.

    A typical walk is about 30 to 45 minutes, with prices starting from €15, and €5 per additional fur legged friend.

  • Are you away for the night, or working a long day in the office, with pets at home who are pretty independent? A house visit might be the offering best for you!

    During an agreed time window I’ll pop around to the house and take care of the basics, such as feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and throwing a ball around the garden! Any indoor plants that need watering? I’ll take care of that too.

    From €25 a day* you can enjoy the time away knowing that the essentials are checked off.

    *If you would like additional house visits (example: twice a day) this can be discussed.

  • Pet Sitting is best for those going away for the night (or longer!) and want company staying in the house with their pets. This also brings a sense of security in knowing their home is taken care of.

    During my stay in your home I’ll cover all the day to day care of the pets including feeding, walking, play time & cuddles, as well as any basic house care such as putting out bins & watering plants.

    It’s important to me that we get a chance to meet before the stay - either in-person or via video call - so that all your pets needs are met while you’re away. Information about any medications taken, quirky traits they may have and feeding routines should be discussed.

    Pet sitting starts from €45 a day.
